Gunmen have attacked a police station in India's northern frontier state of Punjab, which is close to the border with Pakistan, reports CNN.
The attackers, who were said to be wearing army uniforms, stormed the station on Monday, said officials.
The assailants first hijacked a car and opened fire at a bus station, said officials. At least five people were said to have been killed, including two policemen. Six others were reported wounded.
