Militants Float Bombs, Warplanes Hit Smuggling Tunnels

The Israeli military says its fighter jets bombed Palestinian smuggling tunnels on Tuesday in the Gaza Strip, hitting targets along the border with Egypt, Reuters reports.
An abandoned airport in Gaza was also destroyed, witnesses said. There were no immediate reports of injuries.
The strikes came a day after two containers of explosives thought to come from Gaza Strip washed up on the Israeli coast.
