A South Korean oil pipeline in southern Yemen exploded on Tuesday, reports the Yonhap News Agency (Seoul).
The blast in an oil field in Shabwa province caused a leak in the 127-mile (204-km) pipeline, which is operated by the state-owned Korean National Oil Corp.
There was no immediate report on the extent of the damage, company officials said.
Al-Qaida in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP) claimed responsibility for the attack, reported Agence France-Presse.
