Militants Ambush Police In Khyber

Tribal police have come under two separate attacks in northwest Pakistan's Khyber district, Agence France-Presse reports.
More than 30 militants attacked the Sarband checkpoint Wednesday near Bara, wounding two police, security officials said. At least five militants were reported killed.
Separately, a checkpoint in the town of Jamrud was bombed, killing one police officer and wounding three others, said local officials.
