Militant Highway 'Taxing' Halted, Among Other Operations

Afghan and coalition forces carried out a number of anti-militant operations across Afghanistan on Thursday and Friday, NATO's International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) reports.

On Thursday, Afghan army and coalition forces were informed of an illegal militant highway checkpoint in Urgun district, Paktika province, military officials said.
