An Indian air force fighter aircraft has crashed in the Barmer district of the country's western state of Rajasthan, reports the Press Trust of India.
The MiG-27 pilot ejected safely, said officials.
A motorcyclist on the ground was injured when a piece of burning debris struck him, said a Defense Ministry spokesman.
The jet was on a routine flight on Tuesday from Jodhpur air base to Uttarlai airbase in Barmer when it went down, the spokesman said.
