The main armed group in Nigeria has ordered an indefinite cease-fire.
The Movement for the Emancipation of the Niger Delta (MEND) on Sunday said it would stop bombing oil pipelines to permit high-level talks, the Wall Street Journal reports.
The cease-fire will last for an "indefinite" amount of time, said a MEND spokesman.
