Members Of E.U. Stiffing Frontex When Border Guards Are Needed

A lengthy private investigation has found that the European Union border agency is suffering from a drastic shortage of border guards in several locations, even as Europe is beset by a huge influx of migrants, reports the E.U. Observer.

Five months after the E.U. boosted the Frontex budget by 26.8 million euros (US$30 million) to deal with the refugee crisis, its member states have not fully responded to requests for border guards and equipment, says the report.
