Medics To Serve Alongside Kiwis In Afghanistan

For the first time, Malaysia is making a military deployment to the international mission in Afghanistan, reports the Malaysia Star.
Twelve Malaysian personnel departed for Afghanistan on Thursday, with another 28 scheduled to deploy by September, according to a military spokesman.
The military personnel, including doctors and paramedics, are scheduled to serve for six to nine months in the northeast Bamiyan province with New Zealand's provincial reconstruction team there. ...
