Vice Adm. Barry McCullough has been nominated to lead the Navy's new Fleet Cyber Command/10th Fleet, reports the Navy Times.
The command, based at Fort Meade, Md., was established earlier this year to serve as a component command of the new U.S. Cyber Command.
McCullough previously served as deputy chief of naval operations for integration of capabilities and resources, as well as commanding both the John F. Kennedy and Enterprise carrier strike groups.
