MBDA To Adapt Sea Ceptor Missile Systems On Navy's New Frigates

The British Defense Ministry has awarded MBDA Systems a contract to complete design work on the Sea Ceptor air defense system for the British Royal Navy's Type 26 warships.

The 100 million pound (US$122 million) contract covers the demonstration and manufacture phase, which supports additional design work and the manufacture of equipment to install the missile systems on the first three ships, said an MoD release on Friday.
