Police in Afghanistan have uncovered mass graves in a village attacked by militants last week, reports Reuters.
The graves were found after troops recaptured the village on Tuesday, noted AFP.
The Taliban and Islamic State jointly attacked the village of Mirza Olang in the northern province of Sar-e Pul, say Afghan officials. At least 62 people have been confirmed dead.
