Maritime Self-Defense Force Hosts Multinational Exercise In Philippine Sea

Japan is hosting a large multinational exercise in the Philippine Sea this week, reports U.S. Indo-Pacific Command.
The ANNUALEX drills, which began on Sunday and are scheduled to conclude on Nov. 30, are taking place in the Philippine Sea off the southern coast of Japan.
In addition to the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force, the Australian, Canadian, German and U.S. navies are participating.
