Maritime Helicopter Program Snags Again

A long-delayed program to buy new maritime helicopters to replace Canada's aging Sea King helicopters has hit another snag, reports the Globe and Mail (Toronto).
Under the latest agreement with Sikorsky, the Canadian navy was to begin receiving interim Cyclone helicopters on Nov. 30. It was understood that the aircraft would not meet all military requirements, but they were expected to be sufficient for testing and evaluation.
