U.S. Marines are returning to their Pacific roots with drills focused on expeditionary operations after spending more than a decade on desert operations, reports the Stars and Stripes.
Personnel from India Company, 3rd Battalion, 3rd Marine Regiment, recently deployed to Okinawa's 3rd Marine Division from Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii, for the Exercise Blue Chromite.
