The U.S. Marine Corps is planning its first large-scale exercise using an additional 132,000 acres of federal land at Twentynine Palms, Calif., reports the Marine Corps Times.
The LSE-16 drills scheduled for next summer are intended to replicate future operational conditions with more realistic training scenarios and live-firings.
