The U.S. Marine Corps is offering a bonus to recruits in infantry jobs who ink six-year contracts, reports the Marine Corps Times.
A $5,000 bonus is for recruits who successfully complete training as riflemen, light-armor vehicle Marines, machine gunners, mortarmen, infantry assault personnel and anti-tank missile gunners, according to a service announcement.
This is the third consecutive year that the Corps has offered that bonus as part of the Enlistment Bonus Program. ...
