The head of the British Royal Navy says that the Royal Marines will be restructured to better balance the growth of the sea service, reports the U.K. Ministry of Defense.
The move is part of a regular review of the navy's structure to ensure it meets the demands of future conflicts and is balanced with the addition of new warships to the fleet.
The Financial Times noted that the Royal Marines will be cut by 200, with the posts being transferred to the Royal Navy to plug gaps...
