Mexican marines said they have rescued 10 kidnap victims in northern Tamaulipas state, CNN reports.
The group of about 65 marines found five men, four women and a baby boy in the city of Altamira, the navy announced Monday.
After a hostage placed a cell phone call, the marines were able to triangulate their position, said officials.
Three Altamira police officers were arrested at the scene on suspicion of kidnapping, said navy officials.
