Marines Investigate Deadly Helicopter Crash At Twentynine Palms, Calif.

Two Marine officers have died in a helicopter crash at the Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center in Twentynine Palms, Calif., reports the Yuma (Ariz.) Sun.
The UH-1Y helicopter, assigned to the 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing, based at Marine Corps Air Station Miramar, Calif., went down on Friday during a training exercise.
Two pilots -- a captain and a first lieutenant, both based at Camp Pendleton, Calif. -- died from injuries suffered in the crash.
