Marine Unit Gets Ready To Deploy To Afghanistan

A few months after the U.S. Marine Corps concluded its combat operations in Afghanistan, a Marine unit is preparing to return to that country, reports the Marine Corps Times.

The 2nd Air Naval Gunfire Liaison Co. at Camp Lejeune, N.C., last month tested the readiness of its Supporting Arms Liaison Team Alpha for the upcoming deployment.
