Maoists Rounded Up; Weapons Cache Found

Police in the Indian state of Chhattisgarh have arrested 18 suspected Maoists during a routine patrol, Asian News International reports.
The suspects in Bijapur district have been charged with murder, conspiracy against the state and assault on policemen, officials said on Wednesday.
Police said the Maoists were linked to kidnappings and bomb attacks.
Separately, police in Chhattisgarh's Kanker district seized a large cache of arms, ammunition and explosives.
