Thousands of British military personnel will have their wages frozen as part of an overall move to hold the line on public-sector pay, reports London's Daily Telegraph.
About 140,000 members of the armed forces will be affected under the two-year freeze, which will apply to any public-sector employee earning more than 21,000 pounds (US$31,500) annually, according to the Ministry of Defense.
