Many Militants Lose Safe Haven In Northwest, Being Forced Into Afghanistan

Recent Pakistani military operations in the country's northwestern regions have forced Islamist groups across the border into Afghanistan, reports the Wall Street Journal.
At least 400 families affiliated with militant groups, such as Al-Qaida and the Islamic Movement of Uzbekistan (IMU), crossed into Afghanistan in December, according to Afghan officials.
