Manila Seeks International Ruling On Maritime Dispute With China

The Philippines plans to take a dispute over the Scarborough Shoal in the South China Sea to an international body, reports Reuters.
Maritime security vessels from both nations have been involved in a standoff near the shoal, which is claimed as sovereign territory by the Chinese and Philippine governments.
