A Kyrgyz parliamentary committee has approved draft agreements that would allow France and Spain to use the Manas air base for transit to Afghanistan, reports Reuters.
This spring, Kyrgyzstan revoked accords with Paris and Madrid at the same time it pulled out of an agreement with the U.S. on the use of the base.
French and Spanish personnel were due to leave Kyrgyzstan by Oct. 13.
