The Thai and Malaysian prime ministers say they will strengthen border cooperation following deadly attacks in southern Thailand over the weekend, reports the Bangkok Post.
Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra met Tuesday with her Malaysian counterpart Najib Razak during the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) summit in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.
Passengers traveling across the mutual border can expect stricter controls, said Thailand's prime minister.
