The Taiwanese military has shown off its new locally manufactured landing craft during beach drills this week in southern Taiwan, reports the Taipei Times.
The exercise included a simulated amphibious landing in Fangshan, Pintung County.
More than 6,000 personnel took part in the annual Han Kuang exercise.
The training also included clearing underwater obstacles, air strikes and amphibious landings.
