Major Drug Boss Captured

Federal police in Mexico have arrested the leader of the La Familia Michoacana drug gang, one of the most wanted suspects in the country, reports the New York Times.
Jose de Jesus Mendez Vargas, also known as El Chango (The Monkey), was captured Tuesday without a fight in the city of Aguascalientes, said police.
He was said to be detained at a road-block, reported the Financial Times (U.K.).
