Main Crossing With Libya Closed

The Ras Jedir border crossing, the main crossing between Tunisia and Libya, has been closed on the Libyan side following armed clashes, reports Tunis Afrique Presse.

Fighting between Zouara militiamen and troops from the Libyan army took place overnight Saturday into Sunday, said Tunisian officials.

The militia is in control of the border crossing, sources said.
