Maduro's Sanctions Reach Apure State; Border Crisis Meeting Set With Colombian President

President Nicolas Maduro has extended the state of emergency to 10 more municipalities along Venezuela's border with Colombia, reports the BBC.
The declaration on Wednesday covered three municipalities in Apure state and seven in Zulia.
The main border crossing between Apure and Arauca, a Colombian provincial capital, has also been closed, reported the Wall Street Journal.
Thirteen municipalities in Zulia and Tachira have been under an emergency state since August.
