The Italian air force will soon be using an M-346 trainer as an aggressor aircraft for training pilots of Eurofighter Typhoon fighters, reports Alenia Aermacchi, which builds the M-346.
Beginning in August, Italian air force student pilots will complete Phase IV training on the M-346. Phase IV is the final step before pilots start to fly operational fighters.
