The United Nations refugee agency says the Ugandan Lord's Resistance Army militant group has been stepping up its attacks in Central Africa since January, reports the Voice of America News.
Thirty-three attacks have taken place this year in the Democratic Republic of Congo's northeastern Orientale province, displacing around 4,000 people, according to the U.N. High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR).
