Lockheed Wins Warfighter Information Contract

General Dynamics has awarded Lockheed Martin a contract to supply equipment for the transmission subsystem of the Warfighter Information Network-Tactical (WIN-T) Increment 2, reports Lockheed.
The $71 million contract covers communications hardware and equipment for the subsystem, including radios, modems, antennas and mast systems. The system provides the base for the network's ability to transfer data over a highly dispersed, non-contiguous area.
