Lockheed Martin says it has received a contract from the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) to develop a new rifle-scope attachment to improve military marksmanship capabilities.
The $3.9 million contract covers work on the Dynamic Image Gunsight Optic (DINGO) system, which will enable troops to accurately view targets at different ranges without changing scopes or suffering from reduced optical resolution.
