Lockheed Gets More F-35 Work

The Naval Air Systems Command has awarded Lockheed Martin Aeronautics, Fort Worth, Texas, a contract for long lead-time parts for the seventh lot of F-35 Lightning II fighters, reports the Dept. of Defense.
The $489.5 million contract covers long lead-time parts, material and components needed for 35 low-rate initial production Lot VII aircraft.
