Turkish suppliers will continue to produce components for the multinational F-35 fighter jet program for another year or so, reports the Daily Sabah (Istanbul).
Ankara was suspended from the program after going forward with a purchase of S-400 air defense systems from Russia.
When the U.S. announced the suspension in July 2019, it indicated that it would wind down production of F-35 components by Turkish firms by March 2020.
