Live Rounds Fired Accidentally From U.S. Ship In Port

A sailor on a U.S. Navy destroyer accidentally fired three machine-gun rounds Wednesday at the Polish port city of Gdyni, the Navy Times reports.
There were no injuries or damage.
The USS Ramage was undergoing some "routine maintenance" when a sailor triggered the burst from one of the vessel's M240 machine guns, a Pentagon spokesman said.
The rounds hit a warehouse, according to an English-language Polish news site.
