USA—Littoral Ship Headed To SOUTHCOM For 1st Operational Deployment

The U.S. Navy plans to send a littoral combat ship (LCS) to the U.S. Southern Command area of operations later this year, reports Military.com. The ship will be focused on counternarcotics missions.
