The German navy has placed an order with Rheinmetall Defence for 12 light naval guns, reports the German defense firm.
The 11.6 million euro (US$17 million) deal covers MLG 27 guns for four Baden-Wurttemberg-class frigates and the new combat supply ship Bonn.
