Lieutenant Becomes Navy's 1st Female C.O.

New Zealand's navy is about to have its first female ship commander, reports the New Zealand Press Agency.
Lt. Alexandra Hansen is scheduled to take command of the inshore patrol vessel HMNZS Pukaki on June 18.
She replaces Lt. John McQueen, the vessel's first commanding officer.
