The cost of British participation in the NATO campaign over Libya is much larger than originally estimated, reports the Guardian (U.K.).
The cost of the initial operation is 120 million pounds (US$194 million), while the cost of replenishing expended munitions could reach up to 140 million pounds (US$226 million), Defense Secretary Liam Fox said in a ministerial statement on Wednesday.
