A Libyan man was seriously wounded after throwing a bomb at a Italian military barracks in Milan on Monday, Euronews reports.
The man reportedly blew his hand off and injured his face, said police. A soldier standing guard at the base was also said to be slightly wounded.
Italian officials said the explosive device note very powerful.
Witnesses reported hearing the man shout something about Italian troops in Afghanistan before he threw the bomb.
