Liberty Surveillance Aircraft Face Cuts

A top defense official says the U.S. Air Force plans to reduce its fleet of MC-12 Liberty intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance aircraft, reports Defense News.
The aircraft were rapidly acquired in 2008 to make up for shortfalls in the MQ-1 Predator and MQ-9 Reaper unmanned aerial vehicle fleets.
