Letter Of Agreement Inked With U.S. For F-35 Fighters, Reaper Drones

The United Arab Emirates has signed an agreement with the U.S. for the purchase of advanced fighter jets and armed drones, reports Reuters.
The letter of agreement for 50 F-35 fighters and 18 MQ-9 Reaper uncrewed aircraft was signed about an hour before President Joe Biden formally took office on Wednesday, reported Defense News.
The document covers the delivery schedule, the configuration of the aircraft and makes the purchase request official.
