Defense Minister Jussi Niinisto says that the Finnish Parliament has accelerated the timetable to consider new legislation that would allow assistance of military operations in another country, reports YLE News, Finland's English-language news service.
The bill was originally scheduled to come up for debate in the spring of 2016. It will now be reviewed at the beginning of the year, said Niinisto.
