Lee Finds Defense Reform Plans Inadequate

President Lee Myung-bak has called for a reconsideration of South Korea's long-term defense reform program, saying it does not sufficiently address security conditions in the region, reports the Yonhap News Agency.
During the first meeting of the new Commission for National Security Review on Thursday, Lee ordered it to fundamentally reassess external threats and consider new measures for military reform.
