Lebanese and Israeli troops traded fire on their border Tuesday, reports CNN.
One Lebanese soldier and one civilian were reportedly wounded.
The Israeli troops said they were on a routine patrol north of the border fence, but still in Israeli territory, reported the Jerusalem Post.
Some reports indicated that the clash started after the Israelis tried to uproot a tree on the Lebanese side, while other accounts said the Israelis were trying to install cameras.
