Germany's intelligence agencies are in line for major increases of their budgets next year, according to a leaked budget report cited by Deutsche Welle.
The latest budget draft calls for the BfV domestic intelligence agency to receive an 18 percent boost to 307 million euros (US$345 million), while the BND foreign intelligence agency expects a 12 percent increase to 808 million euros (US$903 million), reported the Suddeutsche Zeitung newspaper.
