Leaked U.S. diplomatic cables reveal that Lebanese Defense Minister Elias Murr advised American diplomats on how Israel might remove Hezbollah from southern Lebanon in 2008, Ha'aretz (Israel) reports.

Israel should take care not to antagonize local Christian communities in a possible invasion of southern Lebanon, Murr told the United States Embassy in Beirut.
